Watching: TED Talk Sleep Is Your Superpower - Matt Walker
Don't let the talk about testicles in the first minute put you off. If you don't know me personally - you should know that I am a shocking sleeper. I'm always looking for ways to somehow try and sleep better. I found this very interesting and it REALLY explained my horrific memory retention. Actually if I'm being really honest it scared the begeezuz out of me!

It's football season and I'm once again glued to the wins and (more often than not) losses of my team, the Los Angeles Chargers. They are like the best worst team in the NFL and while they made it to the playoff's last year, it doesn't look good for this season.
Learning: Google Adwords Updates
One of my ongoing training subjects is always all things Google. I usually don't mind it but to tell you the truth I'm really struggling with this round of Adwords updates. The updates are fine but I just can't get excited about learning it. I'll stick with it.
Reading: The Rise of Superman
Having had a torn rotator cuff in my shoulder for almost a year now, in conjuction with a horrible knee (after I hyper-extended it a few months ago) I decided to do what I always do, and read about how other people are doing it much better than me and why.
I have loved so many of these style of books and while I am not powering through it like I have done some others, I am enjoying it.

I started my IT career in Database Administration and .Net coding. While I LOVED that work, I realised very quickly that I also wanted a life. To be a top end coder or DB Admin, you have to comit your downtime to constantly learning and evolving and while that is also something I love, I wanted it to be my work and not my life.
