WHAT IS A ONE PAGE WEBSITE?
A one page website is exactly as it sounds. It has everything your visitor needs on one page. They do follow a fairly decisive layout and are great for a starter website or as a "coming soon" option but with more info than just a statement that your website is on its way.
Typically they include a menu, an Intro section, an About section, a Services section, a Contact section and then a footer.
Even though this isn't a wonderful option from a search engine optimisation standpoint, it is a good way to start. This gets your website out there, enables people to start finding it and shows Google you have an online presence.
Specific sections don't carry the weight of an individual page primarily because they are all on the same page, however like I say it is a good place to start.

- Terms of Use, Privacy and GDRP legal statements for your website are still used. It is irresponsible and illegal in some locations to upload any website without these. I supply standardised wording for these templates which you will have to agree to or alternatively supply your own.
- Google Analytics and Tag Manager setup (if not already setup)
- A dedicated time slot which we will both agree to. This enables us to get the most from a limited time frame.
- A firm listing of all inclusions from a page perspective.
WEBSITE PLANNING & PROCESS
We do still follow the same process as with our information websites, however there are some changes to that process.
Your website is 100% payable up front. These website can have a fast turn around time and it works best for us all if its paid in full before we begin.
You do still get a design overview but it will be very general in style. You will get one opportunity to make changes like section background colours etc, but once the design is approved, there isn't another chance to make changes as part of the initial build.
I still build with SEO in mind, however I never expect one page websites to rank well. Effectively we are putting a range of information on the same page which the search engines aren't a fan of. An About Us page with all your company info, business processes, QA info, and history is dedicated to be about your company. A 6 line entry into one section of your one page website can't do that. You do need to remember this.

MORE INFORMATION & LEGALS
Any time frame quoted is dependent on all your website assets (images, content, product pics etc) being supplied at or prior to the start of the project. Even though a one page website might not seem like much, it can still take a little while to put together your content.
We do still enforce the timeframe slot so be aware that any delays inside of a 14 day window prior to our pre agreed time slot, will also lead to a $500 rebooking fee.

WHAT IS YOUR INVOLVEMENT IN GETTING YOUR WEBSITE DONE?
Creating a new website is a serious commitment and not just from me. I want to be very clear up front this will take time and effort on your behalf. You will need to provide me with some design inspiration.
While a one page website is a lot easier than a full website design, you do still need to supply content and be available for design approvals.
CONTENT PACKAGES
A content package for a one page website is available, however to be honest it isn't often that I do this. It's pretty easy to write out content for each section but should you require it, content for a 4 section one page website is $330 + gst
This includes writing out the content after our phone interview, up to 6 images and editing them for web.
Content edits for this package are not available. If you wish to change something, you can do it yourself after the website is live.

BUILT WITH SEO
While a great website is not a guarantee of traffic, building your website with SEO (search engine optimisation) included from scratch gives you a great base for building your client base and gives you an idea of how to proceed
INDEPTH RESEARCH
Because we are creating a fast turn around website, we don't do the usual level of research that we would do for a full website development project. I will trust your knowledge of your own business and base the website around that.
CONTENT TOOLS
Content is the term we use to describe all the text and images that appear on your website. I have some great tools at my disposal to make it as easy as possible to collect this information from you and your team.
MOBILE FIRST
To achieve the best outcome for any device, I build a mobile first responsive design of your website. Google has a "mobile first" priority, so it is important that your website is technically developed for mobile as a priority. This is a website standard.
LIMITED PLATFORM TRAINING
Training for your one page website will be a limited version. I will walk you through how to edit your website of course, but we won't cover a lot of the more indepth subjects.
INTEGRATED ANALYTICS
Tracking visitor use of your website is essential to make the most of your content and be sure you are giving your prospective clients the best experience. Google Analytics integration is included standard on all websites I build.
CUSTOM 404 PAGE
A 404 page is not included in a one page website package.
1 HOUR HAND OVER
I will do a one hour handover of your website with you.
During this handover you can make any changes you wish and I will be happy to help with any questions you might have.
EXTENSIVE TESTING
Prior to handover, your new website is tested across browsers, platforms and devices. While phones are ever evolving this ensures that we meet all the current device standards and places us in a good place for future updates.
ONGOING SUPPORT
While you will be responsible for content updates on your website, I'm always here for extra help and for anything you might need. While I do encourage clients to maintain their own website I'm always more than happy to help you with any challenges you might have.

There is an ongoing monthly cost for website hosting and unfortunately even though a one page website is way less work to get live, the hosting isn't much cheaper.
We still need everything that is required for hosting a full info website so hosting is still $34 + gst per month.

Annual hosting is available for an 18% discount ($28 per month paid annually). Please note that if cancelled, annual invoices will not be refunded for any unused portion or pro rata. I have to pay annually to give you this discount and I cannot claim any back if a website is cancelled so unfortunately I have to pass this on to you. If you pay for 12 months and decide to cancel in 3 you loose the other 9 months you have paid.
